I took a loom knitting class last weekend (a shout out to Miss Alison for being a wonderful instructor!) We made a baby hat - which I did not photograph for various reasons, mostly because I was so excited that I was able to finish it in two hours and I was just couldn't wait to see if was going to fit on Gracie's head - turns out it was a perfect fit for one of her sister's dolls - oh well, back to the loom!
Pictured are my second and third attempts (number three is still in process - in case you couldn't tell because the loom is still attached).
The pink and lavender one is earmarked for my daughter-in-law. When I started the third one, my son asked "Who is that one for?" I hesitated for a second and realized I don't have an intended recipient - they are just so much fun to make and they go so quickly I just got to digging into my yarn stash to see what kind of cool color combinations I could come up with.
Now, if I could just figure out how to loom AND drive at the same time, .... I could turn out a hat a day!
