This is such a lovely place to hold a retreat. It is nestled in a quiet neighborhood on the lake. I've been there a couple times with our ladies group from church. The house was built specifically to accommodate church groups on retreat. Recently they have suffered from the effects of competition from another larger facility in the area, so they are opening the house to other types of groups (like scrap book enthusiasts, garden clubs, book club, etc). There are six large bedrooms and, if my memory serves me correctly, the place can sleep 20 people.
Wouldn't it be awesome to have a crafting retreat?!? Each lady could bring supplies for everyone to complete a project and we could share our tips and tricks. Something like a stamping pajama party - we could craft until we were tired, nap, eat and craft some more. Sounds like a little slice of heaven to me. What do you think?

I wish I didn't live a zillion miles away. Hmmmmm, the wheels in my head are turning...maybe I could hitch hike to New York carrying nothing but a huge backpack full of craft stuff...and then I could write a book about it! What do you think? Hahahaha. My mom would freak, unless of course I did it all on a motorcycle.
